Though the aesthetics of Lunarianism with the moon, the dark colours, a little bit of Gothic taste and enough space atmosphere, someone would say that Lunarianism is more a kind of "dark" culture.
What is "bright"? and what is "dark"? we could say also that the bright is the right hand path and the dark is the left hand path. But this has to do with religion and not the philosophy. The right hand or bright or white light movements are in general movements that separate the mind, spirit and and the body, they believe in supernatural and magic, they follow moral codes and they believe in afterlife. Lunarianism is definitely a "dark" - "left hand path" movement that encourages sex, individuality, spiritualism through the ceremony but it doesn't separate the mind, the body and the spirit, everything is one and we don't promote after life promises too. We encourage personal anarchy and we see the "state", "moral codes", "capital", "glamour society", "Virtue", "humbleness", "social fear", "asexuality", "modesty" and fake gentility and other similar terms as enemies of each person's self actualisation. A left hand path movement is not important to believe in supernatural in order to do ceremonies too, it is not important, I and we consider ceremonies important for the development of the most important tool of humanity, the imagination.
