As you know from my bible, Lunarianism holds its ideological roots from many philosophical and religious sometimes movements...one of them is the cynicism. Cynics were a radical school of philosophy in ancient Greece and the main idea behind them was that the purpose of life was to live in agreement with the nature and civilization was something against the nature. Today I want to answer what is best to listen and who...enemies or friends finally?
Sometimes life is complicated and people seek the truth in wrong sources at all. Sometimes for example we have a friend that we ask his/her opinion about something and we expect a true/sincere answer. Sometimes friends and enemies tell to us lies and sometimes they tell to us truths. In the previous example our friend may try to be nice and hide the truth, avoiding it because he/she doesn't want to be impolite and hoping that we will understand the truth alone...but it doesn't work like that. If you don't tell to someone the direct truth probably the listener will not understand what is the truth at all...and automatically your friend becoming liar, flatterer and doesn't differ from your enemy, because sometimes a fake friend is the same with an enemy and sometimes better have a sincere enemy than a flatter friend. Now let's see what Antisthenes a famous Cynic teacher said: "There are only two people that can tell you the truth about yourself - an enemy who has lost his temper and a friend who loves you dearly". That means that we have to pay attention about people around us and we must choose only sincere friends and sometimes it may be beneficial to pay attention to our enemies to learn about ourselves.
Knowing and understanding the main criteria of making friends is only if they say the truth it will make you capable to separate the real friends from "friends" and even making us more open minded to hear and pay attention to an enemy that is frustrated by us may be beneficial.
